Monday, May 9th 2011
Senior Send-off Lecture and Champagne Toast
Time: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM.
Location: Alexander G. Hill Ballroom. Join us in toasting to the 2011 graduating class on Monday May 9th at
1pm in Kagin and listen to your professors give their parting words to
us. Leave with a signature champagne glass and excitement to kick off
Senior Week.
Senior Class Social at SEVEN
Time: 9:30pm-2am
Location: Seven Restaurant Minneapolis
Join the Senior class on Monday May 9th at Seven for a night of dining
and dancing until 2am! Have a party on the rooftop, in the lounge, or
on the dance floor for just $5. If you need to relax and
chill, journey over to the sushi lounge. Throw your dancing shoes on
and be ready at 9:30pm in front of Weyerhaeuser on Macalester Street
to board the buses! Don’t forget your government issued id’s so you can sample the signature Macalester drink!
Tuesday, May 10, 2011 Senior Class Picnic:
Time: noon-3pm
Location: Shaw Field
Come back to the place where friendships were first established and
enjoy barbeque, and outdoor games on Tuesday May 10th at noon until
3 pm.
Wednesday, May 11, 2011
Last Supper:
Time: 5pm- 6:30pm
Location: Café Mac
This is your last chance to have a meal at Café Mac with your senior
class on Wednesday May 10th at 5pm and to eat your favorite Café Mac food.
Riverboat Cruise
Time: 7:00pm.
Location: Saint Croix River.
Cost: $35.00 including 1 complimentary drink ticket.
Bus Information: Buses will depart from 62 Macalester Street, in front
of Weyerhaeuser, at 7:00pm and will return to Macalester at 11:00 pm.
Transportation is included in the ticket price.
All Aboard! It’s time to get classy with the class of 2011 in the
final stretch before Commencement. We will navigate the great St.
Croix in style- snacks, drinks, cake (CAKE!) and dancing included.
Come out and reminiscence on your collegiate days of juvenilism, or
better yet, indulge in them one last time. Attire is semi-formal, and
government issued IDs are required to gain entrance onto the cruise.
If you are a senior and are under the age of 21, we have arranged for
your admittance. Cash bar.
Kagin After Party
Time: 11:00 PM - 2:00 AM.
Location: Kagin Ballroom Saturday, May 15th
Commencement
Time: 1:30 PM.
Location: The Lawn.
Graduation is open to all! Rain location will be the Leonard Center Gymnasium.
