Experiential Learning Opportunities
Macalester students also have the opportunity to complete an internship or experiential learning experience during the summer or academic year. These opportunities provide a context outside of the classroom for the student to gain knowledge about a specific discipline, explore career options, or apply classroom knowledge to real world situations. The internship office at Macalester can provide information and support for students seeking an internship. Information about internships can be found on the biology department website also.
