Macalester is determined to enable all admitted students to take advantage of the full range of activities available on campus. The Step Forward campaign is committed to establishing endowed funds in support of the following programs and initiatives:

Study Abroad
Macalester seeks to establish endowed funds that sponsor 10 students each year to attend the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands, a program that emphasizes globalization in a comparative perspective.

Civic Engagement and Internship Opportunities
Macalester's Civic Engagement Center provides opportunities for students to partner with the community in a variety of ways, allowing students to engage in the world around them. The Step Forward campaign seeks to establish 15 new sponsored internships.
