Accident and Health Insurance All Macalester students are charged for health and accident insurance and are are responsible to waive out of the plans or enroll. Health insurance is mandatory. Accidental insurance is optional. Students must waive out of a plan before credit can be issued. ALL STUDENTS (new & returning) MUST EITHER WAIVE OUT OR ENROLL IN A PLAN BETWEEN JULY 1, 2008 and AUGUST 15, 2008.
