Loan Exit CounselingSPRING 2011 GRADUATES Graduation is fast approaching and we are sure you will be very busy in the weeks to come. The Macalester College Loan Office and the Financial Aid Office will provide loan exit interview sessions for the following loans:
Mark your calendar/planner NOW to attend the session most convenient for you and be sure to have your Mac ID card with you! MCISL / GATE Loan Exit Interview Sessions:
As a Macalester College MCISL and/or GATE Loan borrower, you are required to attend a group loan exit interview session before graduation. During the one-hour session you will receive a summary of your rights and responsibilities, an overview of repayment, deferment and forbearance options, and information on the consequences of delinquency and default on your MCISL and/or GATE Loans. Please Note: Diplomas will be held until you have attended the group Exit Interview Session. Federal Perkins / Direct Loan Exit Interview Sessions:
As a Macalester College Federal Perkins Loan borrower, you are required to attend a group loan exit interview session before graduation. During the one-hour session you will receive a summary of your rights and responsibilities, an overview of repayment, deferment and cancellation options, and information on the consequences of delinquency and default on your Federal Perkins and/or Direct Loans. Please Note: Diplomas will be held until you have attended the group Exit Interview Session and completed a short on-line exit session.
