Macalester College has a long history of implementing sustainability projects on campus. To more comprehensively address sustainabilty on campus, the college adopted a campus-wide Sustainability Plan in 2009 to guide our efforts. The plan includes three main section: Leadership, Operations and Education. The Operations section includes goals and strategies for green building, energy, water, transportation, landscaping, stormwater, recycling/waste, and purchasing.
