Welcome to this new feature of the Macalester College Sustainability Office in which we will be summarizing news items happening in the wider world. This update will be published biweekly.
We hope that this initiative will allow the Macalester community to remain constantly aware of contemporary developments regarding environmental and sustainability issues at the international, national as well as state and local level. In addition, we hope this effort will allow our community to further reflect on Macalester College’s core values in promoting internationalism, multiculturalism and global citizenship, recognizing that sustainability is a cross-cutting issue that tangibly affects all of us.
