Our on-line directory, click on Directory on the Macalester homepage- allows you to search by first name or last name or department or e-mail address any Macalester department, faculty, staff or student.

Our automated directory, extension 6777, allows you to spell the name and then be connected to  a Macalester department, faculty, staff or on-campus student, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The campus switchboard, x6000, is available Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm to assist you and direct your calls. Summer hours are Monday through Thursday 8 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 8 am -  noon..

If you wish to restrict the switchboard and automated directory from providing your phone number and transferring calls to you, you must complete a "Request for Restriction of Directory Information". These forms are available at the Registrar's Office.
