Questions regarding your phone, local service, or voice mail system, should be referred to borke@macalester.edu or call extension 6566.

If you are an on-campus resident, and have a campus voice mailbox,  test your name in the automated directory.  Call extension 6777 and spell your name, last name first. If you do not get directed to your extension, inform Telecommunications.

All Macalester numbers are: 651-696-XXXX.

All exterior campus phones allow on-campus and 911 calls only.

If you accidently dial 911, stay on the line to tell the 911 operator that you misdialed.  It is the policy of 911 to follow up on all hang-up calls.

There is a block on all 900 numbers from campus phones.

There is a list of commonly called campus numbers on your phone.
