Artistic Work Outside Macalester
Wynn has been active in the Twin Cities dance community for nearly twenty years as a choreographer, dancer, director and teacher. She danced for Zenon Dance Company, a modern and jazz repertory company, for nine years and was the founder of Borrowed Bones Dance Theater. From 2005 – 2007, she was Minnesota Dance Theater's choreographer in residence, and in 2008 was the Dayton Hudson Distinguished Artist at Carleton College. Her choreography has been produced nationally and internationally.
Honors
Wynn has received grants for her work in dance performance and choreography from the McKnight Foundation, Jerome Foundation, Minnesota State Arts Board, Minnesota Regional Arts Council, and New York City based Trust for Mutual Understanding and Arts International. She has served on panels for the McKnight Foundation and Jerome Foundation.
Wynn was awarded the Sage Award for Best Production in 2006, as well as a Jerome Travel Study grant to research Sufi music and dance in Konya, Turkey. Her company, Borrowed Bones Dance Theatre, was selected for a highly competitive month-long Company Development Residency at The Yard in Martha's Vineyard, MA. Wynn most recently completed a new work, The Shape of Wind, for Zenon Dance Company's 26th anniversary production at the Southern Theater.

Wynn's interest in somatics and meditation has led her to train in monastic settings in Burma and in the United States.
