How the BCS screwed Mockalester over

By JOHN “SENILE” MADDEN

Verdict: Yes.
Now, why Mockalester got shat on by the BCS...
Mockalester was only one game away from a spot in the BCS National Championship Game.
The Scots beat Lawrence. Lawrence narrowly lost to St. Norbert 28-24. If they had won, Mockalester would have been a shoo-in for the Sugar Bowl. This is why:
St. Norbert beat Simpson who beat Central who beat Illinois Wesleyan who beat Washington University who beat Rochester who beat Hobart who beat RPI who beat Springfield who beat Montclair St. who beat Buffalo St. who beat Washington and Jefferson who beat Franklin and Marshall who beat Gettysburg who beat Waynesburg who beat Frostburg St. who beat Salisbury who beat Catholic University who beat LaSalle who beat Marist who beat Central Connecticut who beat Monmouth who beat Georgetown who beat Cornell who beat Bucknell who beat Towson State who beat Lafayette who beat Princeton who beat Brown who beat Yale who beat Columbia who beat Harvard who beat Northeastern who beat Maine who beat Villanova who beat Temple who beat Middle Tennessee State who beat Troy State who beat Marshall who beat Kansas State who beat Oklahoma.
Kansas State also beat California who beat USC.
USC beat Auburn who beat Tennessee who beat Florida who beat LSU.
The Mock Weekly’s experts believe that it was Mockalester’s weak strength of schedule that kept it out of the national championship game. If the NCAA had adopted a playoff format that so many are clamoring for, we believe next year could be the year for the Scots. The real question is which Mockalester football player deserves the Heisman?

John “Senile” Madden is, as his name suggests, senile. Years of exposure on Fox Sports have turned his brain into mush. He should be sentenced to something awful like choking on his turducken.
