Alumnus encourages student political involvement and support of Howard Dean

Dear Editor:

As a member of the Class of ’82, I strongly urge Macalester students to get involved in the 2004 Presidential Race. I personally endorse candidate Howard Dean. Read more about his campaign at www.deanforamerica.com and www.generationdean.com. Dean is for health care legislation, a balanced budget and a woman’s right to choose. His campaign empowers us to change the big-money domination of politics. Dean strongly opposes the war in Iraq, the Bush administration’s devastation of the economy and our negative reputation in the international community.
