The men had a narrow 2-1 win at Hamline on Saturday. Andrew Wissler ’06 opened the scoring for the Scots, but Hamline replied 10 minutes later with an equalizer from Spencer Iverson. Substitute Magnus Oppenheimer ’07 scored the winner, his first career goal for Macalester, in the 80th minute. Oppenheimer was later declared MIAC player of the week.

The Scots returned to their home field on Tuesday to host Augsburg.
