Women's soccer
The Scots took on the Concordia-Moorhead on Wednesday, Oct. 30. In spite of the overcast skies and chilly weather, the Scots came through on top, beating the Cobbers 4–0.
The Scots took charge of the game early on in the first half. Midfielder Jessica Bullen '05 scored the team's first goal 10:09 into the game with an assist from Sarah Marsh '05. The second goal came when midfielder Meghan Leahey '06 scored off a penalty kick five minutes before the end of the half.
Just under ten minutes into the second half, Bullen brought the score up to 3–0 with her second goal of the game. This time the assist came from forward Katie Stephens '03. Half an hour later, Marsh, who assisted the first goal, scored the Scots' final goal. Forward Anna Gierke '03 had the assist on the goal.
The Scots face their final game against Gustavus Adolphus; at this point in the season, the Scots are 6-0-3 in MIAC.
 Men's cross-country
Last Friday, Oct. 25, the Scots traveled to St. Peter for a dual meet against the Gustavus Adolphus; they returned from the 4k race triumphant. The Scots defeated the Gusties 23–32, finishing with three of the top four runners.
Eric Olson '05 finished first with a time of 12:49. Bo Rydze '05 crossed the line just a few seconds later at 12:52. Sky Brandt '06 placed fourth, with a time of 13:06.

 Women's cross-country
The Scots took a break last weekend from the usual meets to run a time trial with the Hamline Pipers. The informal race offered the Scots a chance to rest before this weekend's MIAC championship in Como Park.
