To support you on your path to well-being, staff and faculty who have HealthPartners insurance through Macalester will have the opportunity to receive a wellness incentive for completing an annual Health Assessment and well-being program.
While your individual results remain confidential, Macalester will use our overall results to ensure that we’re offering health and well-being programs that are valuable to you. So, as an active member of the Macalester community, get involved in shaping the culture of well-being for you and your colleagues. Here's how to get started.
1. EVALUATE YOUR HEALTH AND SET a personal well-being GOAL.
Beginning November 1, 2014, log on to healthpartners.com/wellbeing with your HealthPartners username and password to complete your Health Assessment and set your personal well-being goal.
You’ll be entered into a weekly drawing for a FitBit if you complete your Health Assessment during this year’s Open Enrollment period (November 1 through the 21, 2014).
2. TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF.
We support you in taking time for yourself so you can achieve your well-being goal. Some of the ways you may choose to work on your goal is through:
- Meeting one-on-one with our Wellness Coach, Kelly Fang
- Using an online program or the MePlus mobile app to help you track your progress
- Regular use of the Leonard Center
Complete one of these eligible well-being activities between November 1, 2014 and April 30, 2015.
3. FEEL GREAT.
There’s no greater reward than living a happier, healthier life. But just in case you need a little more encouragement, Macalester will add $50 to your paycheck for completing the Health Assessment and an eligible well-being program.
