Physical Activity Classes

Classes include Belly Dance, Boot Camp, Circuit Training, and Yoga. Advance registration and payment of registration fee is required.

Personal Training Classes

Individual, partner, and group sessions are available with a certified fitness trainer.

Wellness Coaching

Meet with our wellness coach to get personal support for making changes in your health. Topics for support include exercise, weight management, healthy eating, tobacco cessation, and stress management among others.

Wellness Walkers

The Wellness Walkers are a group of Macalester College employees who meet for a weekly half-hour walk to improve their health and well-being. Meet in the Leonard Center, near the front desk. Walks take place outside (weather permitting) or inside around the track.

Weight No More

You know what you need to do to lose weight. Now, with the support of a coach and a group of like-minded co-workers, you can make it happen! Weight No More is an ongoing, weekly weight management support group for employees, led by Macalester’s Health Coach, Kelly Fang. Meets in the Club Sports Room at the Leonard Center.

If you’ve completed a health assessment, you have access to a wide variety of HealthPartners online programs. Log in to healthpartners.com/wellbeing to find an activity that fits your life.

Virtual Coaching

Tailored and unique to you, virtual coaching will help you achieve your health goals. Watch, listen and interact online with these motivating and fun activities. Each activity contains three “conversations,” and takes about 20 minutes. You’ll choose from three options:

  • Live Life Well (healthy lifestyles)
  • Life in Balance (stress management)
  • Quit for Good (tobacco cessation)

Fun, easy and convenient. We have online programs that can help you get healthy and they only take eight weeks to complete. Just long enough for you to see results.
