Hemisphere Companies Executive Named to Macalester’s Board

St. Paul, Minn. – Peter Ahn, Co-Founder & Partner, Hemisphere Companies, Minneapolis, Minn., has been named to the Board of Trustees at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., to serve four, three-year consecutive terms.

Ahn graduated from Macalester in 1987 with a degree in economics and has a Master’s in Business Administration in strategic management from the University of Minnesota.

Hemisphere Companies (HC) is a full-service investment and development company specializing in the leisure and hospitality industry. Through various entities, HC owns, develops, and/or manages facilities throughout the United States and Canada.  Ahn manages the firm's finances and operations, and leads its debt placement activities.

From 1999 to 2001, he was with an investment banker with Jefferies and Company, Inc. Prior to joining Jefferies, Ahn spent four years at RBC Dain Rauscher in the fixed income and equity capital market groups. And before joining Dain, Ahn was a management consultant with a principal focus in the energy industry.
