Fidelity Investments Executive Named to Macalester’s Board

St. Paul, Minn. – Patricia R. Hurley, Senior VP/Deputy General Counsel, Fidelity Investments in Boston, Mass., has been named to the Board of Trustees at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., to serve four, three-year consecutive terms.

Fidelity Investments is one of the world’s largest providers of financial services, offering investment management, retirement planning, brokerage, and human resources and benefits outsourcing services to more than 23 million individuals and institutions. 

Hurley received her B.A. from Macalester in 1982. She received her J.D. from Harvard University in 1985.  

She is an active Macalester volunteer, serving as an alumni admissions representative, a member of the Lead Gifts Committee and hosting newly admitted students and their parents at her home, among many other activities.

Hurley and her husband, Michael Weindling, are Macalester parents. Their son, Jacob Weindling ’10, will be a sophomore this fall.
