Events include:
- Friday, 1:30 p.m.: John M. Cannon, professor, Physics and Astronomy, “Rooting for the Little Guy: Tracing Galaxy Evolution Using Dwarf Systems,” Weyerhaeuser Board Room;
- Friday, 4:15 p.m.: Ruthann Godollei, professor, Art, “Art Cars: Public Art and the Museum of the Streets,” Weyerhaeuser Board Room
- Saturday, 12:45 p.m.: Forum on Race II: “The Obama Impact,” featuring Professor Emeritus Mahmoud El-Kati, former Minneapolis Mayor Sharon Sayles Belton ’73 and invited guest U. S. Congressman Keith Ellison. Moderated by Warren Simmons ’73, Campus Center Lecture Hall
- Saturday, 4:30 p.m.: Alumni Awards Convocation honoring the 2009 Alumni Award recipients, including H. Kris Ronnow ’59, Jessie Parker Strauss ’59, Art “Bud” Ogle ’64, Pamila Brown ’76, Mihailo Temali ’76, Charles Harris ’75, Tonderai Chikuhwa ’96, Fred Swaniker ’99 and Louisa Chapman ’75.
