Who: Wendy Brown, a political science professor at Univ. Calif., Berkeley, is affiliated with two interdisciplinary graduate programs, in Critical Theory and Women and Gender and Sexuality. Her books include Regulating Aversion and Manhood and Politics.
What: Brown’s lecture is titled “Desiring Walls.” She’s currently working on a book about contemporary nation-state walling considered through the lens of sovereignty (on which this lecture is based).
