Macalester Pipe Band Receives Award at MN Tartan Day

Who: 30 members, past and present, of the Macalester College Pipe Band

What: The Macalester Pipe Band will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for providing 60 years of Scottish music and culture to Minnesota. The Minnesota Tartan Day Cooperative honors members of the community for their outstanding contributions to the preservation, continuation, and celebration of Scottish Culture and Heritage with a Lifetime Achievement Award. St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman has proclaimed the day Macalester College Pipe Band Day in St. Paul.
