Since most normal citizens do not have an advanced degree in landscape engineering and computer simulations, creating accessible and informative visual representations of wind energy projects is too often left to the "experts." Editorial cartoons have become a popular medium for opponents and supporters of wind projects alike to express their concerns visually. The website "Windtoons" has page after page of editorial cartoons about wind energy.
