Summer 2007

until we meet again

WMCN is off the air until September. We will be keeping up email contacts, though no one will be in the office to answer calls until the fall.

Again, thanks to all who worked, volunteered and listened this semester. We'll be back with new staff, more great programming and a working digital library (seriously).

Enjoy new photos, don't forget that blog, and happy summer wherever you are.

today is the day

WMCN will end regularly scheduled broadcasting at 2am tonight. Many thanks to all those that made this a successful semester at the station, and special thanks to our loyal listenership

Special WMCN shows during the week of May 7-11 are a possibility, check back for details...

Congradulations to our new staff! We'll have updated contacts, top 10 albums of the semester and lots more before the week is out.

the end is nigh

WMCN will go off the air after the last of our regularly scheduled Tuesday programming, May 1st.

That means there's less than two weeks to enjoy the last episode or two of all your favorite shows!

WMCN is currently accepting applications for Fall 2007 staff!

You can print out an application here or pick one up at the campus center info desk.

All applications are due back to the campus center info desk by 10pm, April 29th.

WMCN is off the air 3/10-3/17 for Macalester's spring break. Broadcasting resumes 8am 3/18

Taking the day off...

Considering DJ cancellations, the campus closure and founder's day gala tonight, we have decided to shut down WMCN after the 2pm show today. WMCN will return 10am 2/3.

The webcast lag problem persists, but we've decided to switch hosting providers. So hang in there, we'll have a new and improved stream up ASAP.
