WMCN 91.7fm DJ Application :: Fall 2004

This online version of the spring DJ application is (like the print version) due September 15th.

The application is rather crudely coded at the moment, further updates will be made soon.

Give us a short description of your show including what kind of music you would play, any themes you have, and so on. Remember, although we value diverse programming, we are looking for specific and cohesive individual shows-eclectic is not a genre. Include 20-ish artists you would play. If you are interested in doing a news or talk-oriented show, just tell us about it (topics, etc.):

- remember more times means a better chance of getting a show.

If your show is accepted, you will be informed by email on either Wed 15 th or Thursday 16 th. In order to become a certified WMCN DJ, you must attend the DJ meeting which will take place Friday September 17 th at 6pm. Also, you must attend a training session (even if you are a returning DJ) on either Saturday Sept 18 th or Sunday Sept 19 th. You will not be allowed on-air without DJ training

Again, please put down the times you ARE available for DJ training. Failure to complete DJ training will result in the loss of your show.

I understand that in order to become a DJ, if accepted, I am required to attend the DJ meeting on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 17 th at 6pm. I am also required to attend a DJ training session either on Saturday Sept 18 th or Sunday Sept 19th. I understand that I will be informed of my training time by a WMCN staff member. I also understand that in accordance with FCC regulations, WMCN permits no obscenity and nothing of an offensive nature to be broadcast over our signal. This will be reviewed in DJ training, and I will sign an official and binding DJ contract holding me to the terms of the FCC and of WMCN.
