Stage and audience view at the magnificent 1st century BCE Amphitheater at Kourion. The apostle Paul preached at this theater during his travels across the Mediterranean. The view of the sea and the green fields far down the mountain was breathtaking. When I took this picture, a huge herd of sheep with clinking bells stood just to the right of the amphitheater.
