Kourion, Cyprus

My trip to the Mediterranean included ten days in Cyprus. Friends Jeanne and Nigel Ramsden graciously drove me around their country to see extraordinary ruins. These pictures depict the ruins of an ancient Sanctuary of Apollo, the gorgeous 1st century BCE amphitheater at Kourion, detailed mosaics at the home of the "first Christian in Cyprus," and the ruins of an early Christian basilica at Kourion.
