Skala Eressos, Lesbos

In summer 2001, I spent a month traveling by myself in the Mediterranean. Here are some of the sights of the town known as "Skala," reputedly the place of birth and death of Sappho, the famous poet. Click on thumbnail pictures to view the larger images.
