            Since indigenous rights groups worldwide have claimed the term 'biopiracy', most of the discourse is concentrated on the internet because this is an easily accessible source. The follofing websites provide information about who is mobilizing against biopiracy. Also, a simple google search for biopiracy brings up hundreds of hits about groups sponsoring biopiracy campaigns or articles.

The Coalition Against Biopiracy declares 'Captain Hook Awards' every year for the worst perpetrators of biopiracy. Some of their members are:
