• Nepal Indigenous Development Society (NIDS) -- Nepal Indigenous Development Society (NIDS) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in Chitwan, Nepal in 1993 by members of the Tharu community and registered with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal in 1994. Its mission is to support and empower rural people to improve their socio-economic condition through programs aimed at reducing poverty, illiteracy and malnutrition.

• Strategy for Danish-Nepalese Development Cooperation -- A site maintained by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs that discusses Denmark's contribution to basic primary education in Nepal.

• Nepal School Projects -- Nepal School Projects (NSP) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) located in Ontario, Canada, founded in 1975, and run entirely by volunteers. The key objectives of our organization are to raise and allocate funds for development projects in rural Nepal.

• Gorkha Women's Association -- The GWA was formed in 1992, focussing on literacy classes and social evenings.

• Freedom Nepal (Campaign to Eradicate Bonded Labour in Nepal) -- A comprehensive source for informed action on Nepal's bonded labor problem.
