ANTIQUE CAROUSELS
I know a lot about them, especially Cafesjian's Carousel, which I have helped save (from auction), restore (to original paint) and operate (in St. Paul's Como Park), and for which I created an official site.

WAYNE TERWILLIGER
My husband and I helped him write a memoir of his 58 years in professional baseball as player, coach and manager (and his service as a Marine in the South Pacific during WWII), published in 2006. See my Twig web site.

ST. PAUL SAINTS BASEBALL
I'm at nearly every game, tailgating and then sitting just behind the umpire, keeping score.

FAMILY
My husband, Peter Boehm, is my partner-in-crime in carousel, Terwilliger and Saints activities, as in life itself. Step-daughter Abby married fellow '98 Grinnell grad Eric Turner in 2005; they are parents of Augie (2/26/07) and Viola Mae (6/2/08).

CLAIM TO FAME
I beat Bob Dylan in a talent contest. Hibbing Winter Frolic talent show, 1959. I played the piano (Smoke Gets in Your Eyes) and so did he (a rock-'n-roll number a la Jerry Lee Lewis).

ADOPT A FAMILY
I founded and for many years coordinated Macalester's annual holiday gift project for 36 families participating in the St. Paul YWCA's Transitional Housing Program.
