sorry forever.

hey blogosphere, my friends got a bunch of blogs and i forgot about my own. so sorry, linda. i will get back to blogging, even though i am extremely bummed that i am not on most blogrolls. further proof that no one can handle the unconventional.

shit's been poppin' in my absence. for one, intramural basketball season started, and i showed up super pumped with my serious athletic gear on, but i tried to steal the ball from jeremy and aaron and jammed my finger on the ball. i thought i would be good for the second game of the doubleheader, but it kept hurting and i felt like a total wuss and not at all a team player but i couldn't play. later on that night, i became convinced it was broken, and i tried to get jeremy to fix it using his wilderness medicine skills and he told it wasn't broken but i was still pretty sure it was. i went to winton to get it checked out, but a steam pipe had exploded so the building emitted a stream of billowing steam and the nurse gave me a splint and told me to leave. i skipped class to go to the doctor but they told me i had to go to urgent care, so i did and this flippant doctor told me it wasn't broken and i should just roll with us. jerk doctor was wrong, because this lady called me the next day and told me the radiologist detected a fracture. i went back to urgent care, where they did absolutely nothing for me. oh well though. then someone called me again a couple days later to make sure i knew it was broken.

the last two weeks have been mildly inconvenient because of it, though i have decided to drop the dirty foul splint for buddy taping. i can't wear my left glove, so i started wearing a sock on my hand and stefan made fun of me a lot, even though it was so cold i couldn't go without it. i can't play basketball and my team is unspeakably bad (0-3), even though my old jock friends have tried to assist me in any way possible. bummer. i'm sure we will improve dramatically when i can play (?!?).

some other things happened, like we were at the noise and ben crew gave a ride home for $2 each. stefan almost shit his pants. then i went to the zoo, and peter t's cousin worked there so she took us behind the scenes at the giraffe exhibit!! it was so awesome!!! we also took a youth crew portrait and i loved those dudes totally a lot. best dudes.

peter v, jeremy, and i also played an awesome elaborate prank on kai. you can read about it here, though unfortunately kai "stick in the mud" bosworth stopped updating that webpage before he got a polaroid depicting neil wearing only one black glove and a pink trenchcoat and holding the mug next to his junk. the ransom note was cool too, i have some extra copies if any readers want to see one or use it for their own personal extortion or hostage project.

in addition to these PRETTY AWESOME developments, kelly and i are moving to new york city! we are going to live in a wacky apartment in fancy midtown manhattan (haha!) and i am going to find a job somehow, doing one of the following things:
- sexy boxing promoter
- fake grad student pursuing a career in historic preservation
- researching and building an 1860s german beer hall replica in a tenement building
- extra in a basketball movie
- gis intern, doin thangs
ask me about my resume.

stefan and i have a radio show on tuesdays/wednesdays from 12-2 am and i made cool flyers. it is way past my bedtime and he won't let me play blitz or combat 84. WACK DUDE. other than that, here are some youtube videos of songs that i like a lot:
