to the hoop y'all!

dudes (linda!), what's up?! life's poppin' off. lemme tell you about it.

FIRST OF ALL, i convinced stefan to go vegan. SECOND, i convinced stefan to play on my basketball team as a secret weapon to beat the devastators! it worked, and then we won the next game by forfeit. and since he enjoyed the celebration of life that is intramural basketball so much, he came back again this week, and we won both of our games! this season has seen marked improvement from aaron and jeremy, and i have probably actually gotten worse on account of breaking my finger, but i'm gonna be good someday. oh yeah, by the end of summer, because this summer all i'm doing is skating and playing basketball and eating pizza and working at the library 36 hours a week or something. how about you? THIRD, stefan and i sparked a call more dudes frenzy and it resulted in T SHIRTS (how this happened i have no idea, but i am SO INTO IT) and wow, so awesome. FOURTH, stefan rules. FIFTH, by the time i went to cafe mac in my athletic apparel, EVERYONE knew about me winning and patted me on the back! gosh, how great are sports? think about it. my old roommate did. peep her facebook about me: "I truly believe that there is rarely a happier moment than when a sports team wins a big game." true life, kim.

in other news not related to stefan (this kind of news should be banished), school sucks (as always, RIGHT?) and i got a job as the reference aide for the summer so i will be answering the phone a lot and occasionally fixing stuff. i'm also pretty sure they'll be making me do manual labor every morning at like 8 or something, but fuggit. i decided pretty recently that i want to go to library school and be a librarian, but i guess i have to make it through sophomore year first. oh what?

way into stupid message boards and get the most. are you into those things? i'm also pretty into pizza luce again (i mean, duh) and rudimentary peni and this week's mac weekly (yo, what? pure genius, sort of) and people making me food and oral histories and shit. i still carry the torch for ja rule even though i haven't met a single person who actually likes him since i got really into him (though "i love ja rule" has 911 hits on google, compared to 738 for "i hate ja rule"). if i didn't have to go to wackass classes and confront my dizzyingly stupid time management skills and dwindling interest in everything, maybe life would be optimal. for now it is pretty good though. i had a fucked up experience and now i'm trying to be a better person when i remember but mostly i still just spend most of my time alone doing pretty unfulfilling things, but i guess i keep it in my mind most of the time.

real psyched for real talk with the real kelly kay in southern california in a little over a month. also, i might go to winnipeg! i got a sweet housesitting gig this summer, so why don't you come over and hang out with me while i make cupcakes and learn how to jump really high? stefan's working on dunking, i'm working on getting off the ground. in basketball i'm outmatched as shit, but since we're both going to be skateboarding novices there's potential for us to be comparable in skill!

word life. no beef.
