About me

Hi!  My name is Annaka Sikkink.  I'm a soon-to-be-sophomore at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.  I made this website as a project for my class History of Western Women Philosophers, taught by Karen Warren.  This was my first philosophy class, my first time reading Wollstonecraft, and my first attempt at making a website.  I've had fun and learned a lot doing all three.

I'm from Holland, MI, a town on Lake Michigan with lots of tulips.  After high school I decided I wanted to try living somewhere else so I came out here to the wonderful (but rather chilly) cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.  My first year here has been different from what I expected, but great at the same time.  I'm a psychology major (maybe) and a music minor.  Music takes up much of my spare time, as I'm taking flute lessons, piano lessons, and participating in flute choir and symphonic band.  I also enjoy reading and hanging out with friends.
