Mark Knierim

Mark Knierim is a veteran Technical Supervisor, having worked at the Art Department of the University of Minnesota in that capacity for 29 years. He is an avid wood carver, specializing in handmade spoons, and has taught these skills in the popular course “By Hand.” Mark assists students with technical aspects of 3D projects, manages the 3D and laser cutting studios, and keeps all aspects of the Studio Art building running smoothly.
