Sixty-four people attended the Geological Society of Minnesota’s Paleo (fossils) Lab hosted by Jeff Thole and the Macalester College Geology Department. After a short talk about identifying common fossils, participants had the chance to try their hand at identifying common fossil or observe good examples of the major fossil groups provided by the department and Roger Benepe’s personal collection. Many thanks to Roger for sharing his spectacular collection.
