Stephanie Farmer specializes in the documentation and description of endangered languages, particularly of the Amazon basin. She has conducted linguistic fieldwork in northern Peru on Muniche, a language isolate, and Máíhĩ̵kì, a Western Tukanoan language.
Stephanie’s theoretical interests lie in the semantics and morphosyntax of noun classification, definiteness, and plurality (both verbal and nominal).
Education: Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley (2015)
