Professor Fox researches robots that learn their behaviors, and can adapt to their environments. Her research relates machine learning, particularly deep learning for computer vision, to robot tasks like low-level navigation and localization. Students are an integral part of her research, helping to write and test every component of her robot control system. Prof. Fox teaches courses across the computer science curriculum, including Core Concepts in Computer Science, Algorithm Design, Theory of Computation, and Artificial Intelligence.
