Religious Studies students who are interested in study abroad or study away (elsewhere in the U.S.) are encouraged to do so. The Religious Studies Department actively collaborates with the Center for Study Away in creating opportunities for students to study abroad in locations all over the world, including Amman, Jordan; Edinburgh, Scotland; Kandy, Sri Lanka; Oxford, England; Pune, India; Athens, Greece; Rome, Italy; and London, England. Start planning early in collaboration with your department advisor.

You don’t have to know where you want to study to begin thinking about the possibilities and where a semester away might fit within your academic program. Students are encouraged to talk with their advisors, familiarize themselves with the application process, and work with advisors in the Center for Study Away.
