Event,&nbsp; Physical Item,&nbsp; or General Payment (see description below). You will need to decide which area best fits your item. It is possible to have items&nbsp;in different areas in one store (e.g. an invoice you want to collect on and a t-shirt).&nbsp; This is fine as long as you know where each item(s) fits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The three areas your item can fall under<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Event<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Are you selling tickets or taking registrations?&nbsp; E.g. basketball game, conference, swimming classes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Physical Item<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Are you selling items such as t-shirts, finals baskets, school supplies etc.?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General Payment<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Are you collecting deposits, invoice payments, something that does not have a set cost?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"marketplace\">Detailed Information about the New Marketplace Store<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One will need to know specific information about their store such as the&nbsp;name of the store, main contact\u2019s information, item information etc. Thinking through the process of your online store before filling out the Marketplace Store Request Form will be very helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sales\">Estimate Minimum Sales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to request a Marketplace Store, you need an estimated sales of at least 10 items that equal a total of $500 or more. Examples of situations that would and would not work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yes- 30 Blue Macalester Sweatshirts at $25 = $750 in sales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No- 5 tickets to Canada at $250= $1250<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"images\">Images<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marketplace Store allows you to choose images to go with your store\u2019s items.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose your images from your own personal pictures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After you fill out the Marketplace Store Request Form, email your image selections to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:marketplace@macalester.edu\">marketplace@macalester.edu.<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;Verify the image you would like with each item.
