In addition, applicants are expected to have taken at least some of the honors or advanced courses available at their secondary schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Receiving College Credit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For students admitted to Macalester through the first-year admissions program, Macalester will accept for credit a maximum of thirty-two (32) Macalester credit hours from courses earned at a college or university prior to matriculation at Macalester.
