Whether you&#8217;re meeting over coffee, exploring a local museum, hiking a favorite trail, or gathering for a meal, every Mac In Your City event is an opportunity to bring Macalester&#8217;s spirit of curiosity, connection, and engagement to your own community.<\/p>\n    \t    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Become a Host<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Help create a space where Macalester alumni can connect in your city. Hosting doesn&#8217;t have to be complicated. Gather alumni at a favorite coffee shop, park, restaurant, museum, or your own home. Lead a discussion, organize a neighborhood meetup, or simply create an opportunity for people to reconnect. However you choose to gather, we&#8217;ll help support you along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alumni Engagement team will provide communications support, planning resources, event materials, and guidance to help make your event a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interested in hosting? <\/strong>Complete the brief <a href=\"https:\/\/engage.macalester.edu\/register\/MIYC-Host-2026\">host interest form <\/a>by August 7, 2026.
