Cheryl Wilgren

Cheryl Wilgren is the director for the Visual Resources Library in the Art and Art History Department. 

Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Film, while working full time at the University of Minnesota (UMN) in the Design College digital image collection. In 2008 she received her MFA in Experimental Media, from the Department of Art, at UMN, where she was an IT Fellow, and also began her art teaching career.  

Cheryl is an artist, curator, and educator. In her professional art practice, focus is on honoring and experiencing the natural world, with consideration toward interconnectivity, and the relationship between nature and humans.
