The Visual Resources Library is located in AC201 in the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Building. The VRL manages a database of images for teaching, research and learning in the Art and Art History Department. We also provide image resources, scanning, presentation training and Copyright for faculty, staff and students at Macalester College.
The VRL also maintains a large format printer which can used for a fee. Contact the VRL for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Art History Digital Collection on ContentDM consists of over 25,000 images. Macalester College students, faculty, and staff may access the collection for use in teaching and learning from any on-campus computer, or by logging in with ezproxy.
The Visual Resources Library offers classroom orientations, instruction sessions, and one-on-one guidance with:

- Copyright and image citation
- Large format printing
