Dr. Daughters is a cell and molecular biologist with interests in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. He teaches courses in cell biology, molecular biology, neurobiology, biotechnology, and regenerative medicine. His research uses molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches to determine how we can use stem cells to repair or regenerate tissues under normal and disease conditions. Dr. Daughters is the program director of the Minnesota Regenerative Medicine Internship Program that provides student research opportunities in regenerative medicine.
