Alternative Grading for "Rigor" and Beauty

Join Leslie Myint (Math, Statistics, & Computer Science) and Ahoo Najafian (Religious Studies) for a discussion of “Alternative Grading for ‘Rigor’ and Beauty.” At its heart, alternative grading is a quest to make learning beautiful and lasting. In this talk, we’ll share strategies attempted, lessons learned, and hopes remaining based on our engagement with the alternative grading community over the last few years. Lunch will be provided. All faculty and staff are welcome.
