Join us for a student-led presentation and student/faculty/staff panel about textbooks and textbook alternatives. Learn more about:

  • how the textbook industry has a stronghold on your wallet

  • results of the Macalester Student Textbook Affordability Survey

  • what the MCSG Academic Affairs Committee and Library are doing

  • what individual faculty are doing to address textbook costs--and why it’s not as easy as "switching textbooks"

Presentation will be followed by Q&A with the panel of presenters. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
