Mindfulness Retreat

Giving Your Relationship the Gift of Mindfulness

Invite someone you care about, your partner or spouse, a good friend, roommate, sibling, parent, or adult child to come along with you to experience how mindfulness practices (that are simple and doable) can enrich your relationship. In a variety of fun and supportive ways, participants will explore (with the person they come to the retreat with) how mindfulness can cultivate a sense of connection and appreciation for each other and your unique relationship, and how mindfulness can help you bring a kind, nonjudgmental approach to your relationship.

All Macalester staff and faculty are invited, along with someone you care about. The retreat is an incentive-eligible well-being activity for employees and spouses/domestic partners on Macalester's health plan. There is no need for any prior experience or knowledge of mindfulness to enjoy and benefit from this retreat. Space is limited to the first 12 partners/pairs.
