“Graduate School???: What Is That, and Why Think About It Now?"

This presentation will shine a large spotlight down one of the major paths of post-college life available for those thinking they might be interested in pursuing research and scholarship beyond college and becoming teachers themselves within higher ed. Like much of academic culture, graduate school and the world of professors is shrouded in mystery and hidden curriculums.

Speaking first from his own experiences, Professor Arthur Mitchell will pull back the curtain, talking about what graduate school really is, how to think about whether it is the right path for you, and how to start orienting yourself toward it in the future.
