Marginalized Genders in Computer Science

At Macalester, the CS department has served almost 4,000 enrollments over the past four years, about 44% of whom identify as a person of a marginalized gender. Join a panel of students and faculty for an interactive discussion about the experience of being someone with a marginalized gender identity in computer science. Panelists include Susan Fox, Abby Marsh, A'di Dust, and Ivy Contreras. Attendees are welcome to share their own experiences if they choose. Thursday, November 18th at 11:30am in the Old Main 4th floor lounge. Pizza will be served. Co-sponsored by MSCS and WGSS.
