Archives and Rare Books Room Open House

Have you wondered what treasures are hiding behind the locked doors of the library archives and rare books room? Spring 2022 is your chance for a sneak peek at some cool stuff! On the fourth Thursday of each month, 4:30-6:30 p.m., we’ll be unlocking our doors and offering you a close-up look at maps, books, and other objects from our special collections.

This Thursday, February 24, we’ll be sharing items around the theme of Globalism, including a copy of a map of the world originally created in 1674 in China. Drop in! Access our space through Archives Classroom 254 on the library’s Level 2. Questions? Ask us.
